Silas means “of the trees,” and many people decided to have trees planted in the name of our son.  We hope to add to this list over the years and love the idea of huge beautiful trees flourishing on this Earth in our son’s name.

145 trees were planted in Huron-Manistee National Forest in Michigan, through The Arbor Day Foundation.

175 trees were planted in Plumas National Forest in California, through the Arbor Day Foundation.

12 trees were planted in Israel through a variety of organizations.

1 peach tree was planted in the backyard of Chateau Moonrivers in Francestown, NH.

1 Acer Rubrum “Red Sunset” Maple tree was planted in the East Rock Peace Park in New Haven, CT.
