Our choices, our perspectives, how we handle adversity or celebrate happiness, each instance of decision is another step forward through the twisting path of our treacherous lives.

“my soul and intellect and heart are capable of withstanding far more than I could have ever imagined”
Yes, yes, they are.
Thinking about you guys and sending all my love, always.

Found this while on Glow in the Woods (haven’t been there in ages…) And, anyway, so glad I stumbled there today – this is simply one of the best things I’ve read to describe this hell. Fresh air to my lungs, if you know what I mean – you nailed it and I will be quoting this via a link someday from one of my blogs… and I look forward to being able to share this description. And – I’m sorry to learn of your loss of Silas (I just read the story and my heart aches for you both.) As for the newest “heart-beat” – wonderful.
