Music may have saved my life, my marriage, my soul. Even in the darkest, bleakest hours of those first days with Silas suddenly gone, music pierced my impenetrable grief and keep something alive within.

beautiful, Chris. I love the idea that music isn’t just an inevitable truth, it’s one you can hold on to. I think your words come together and become a truth that people can hold on to, in a similar way. thank you for sharing your amazingly lucid introspection(s). i don’t know if it’s hard or easy to share yourself in this way, but I think it’s a good thing that you do. your writing is art.
always wishing you good things, my friend.
LOVELOVELOVE to you both.

Ahh, music. Music has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. Most often it brings my joy, but also brings about a slew of emotions depending on the day/my mood. I’ve never understood how anyone could not like or be into any music. Any. What?
Beautiful post. Thanks for sharing.
